Just a typical morning in the STEAM lab. Mr. DeVaul teaching Computer Science to 4th graders, 2nd graders checking out books and 6th grade TAG/ELP students studying drones and robotics. All in 1 space, all being flexible, learning from each other. We are WACO!

6th grade TAG/ELP took their coding skills to the hallway where preschool got to interact with Cue, the robot.

Our 2nd graders stepped back in time for a day of Western Expansion fun! 🤠🌄 Students came dressed as pioneers, cowboys, and cowgirls as we celebrated all we’ve learned about life in the 1800s. We tasted dried fruit—just like travelers on the Oregon Trail, who often journeyed for up to six months! To wrap up our day, students put their knowledge to the test with an Oregon Trail simulation game, making tough choices and experiencing a glimpse of what life was like on the trail. 🏜️🌵
