Louisa County sheriff's department posted on Facebook about a manhunt in the area of our elementary. As a precaution, we are keeping students indoors until the manhunt is over. Our doors are always locked during the day. Thank you for understanding during this safety precaution.

WACO Cross Country is back in action tonight when they travel to Mt. Pleasant High School for a meet beginning at 4:30 pm! Good Luck Warrior runners!
WACO JH and HS Cross Country will run the links at Knoll Ridge Country Club (North English, IA) when they compete at the English Valleys meet beginning at 4:30. Good luck runners, may your feet be swift!!
The Warrior Volleyball team will be back in action tonight at home, as they take on the Wildcats of Columbus. Fresh/Soph starts at 5:30, followed by the JV and then the Varsity! Come cheer on the Warriors.

Along with other conference schools we invite you to wear orange tomorrow, Thursday August 29th, to honor the memory of Robert Adams from the Van Buren County Community School District. Robert, a junior at Van Buren County, tragically lost his life in a motor vehicle accident on Sunday morning while driving to work.
We extend our deepest condolences to Robert's family and all who knew him.
